4。5 ⭐️ Still really new to Manga but I thought I would give this series a go and I really enjoyed myself! Very much looking forward to seeing where this story goes and I can see myself falling in love with Rin!!🖤

I really liked this volume, but watching the first episode of the anime might have given more information, and taken things more slowly。 Everything happens really fast, and it doesn't really explain all that much what exactly is happening (in the beginning) and why Rin always gets into fights。 It also doesn't explain why that kid that was bribing Rin (view spoiler)[ turned into a demon, rather, got possessed by Satan, and why Rin started seeing the small demons。 (hide spoiler)] Other than that, I really liked this volume, but watching the first episode of the anime might have given more information, and taken things more slowly。 Everything happens really fast, and it doesn't really explain all that much what exactly is happening (in the beginning) and why Rin always gets into fights。 It also doesn't explain why that kid that was bribing Rin (view spoiler)[ turned into a demon, rather, got possessed by Satan, and why Rin started seeing the small demons。 (hide spoiler)] Other than that, it is a really good manga that I completely enjoyed reading, and I especially liked the bonus 4-panel shorts at the end。 8。7/10 :) 。。。more

I highly recommend this series if you are looking for some comedy, and action。 Also, if you are interested in demons of course。 The trip of Rin Okumura, brings us through the first volume, as we see Rin, go to New Cross Academy, to become an exorcist。 He must become an exorcist to avenge his non-biological father, Father Fujimoto。 It has scenes that make you laugh, scenes that also make you smile。 And also scenes that make you shocked。 Rin, is one of my favorite characters。 With his happy and co I highly recommend this series if you are looking for some comedy, and action。 Also, if you are interested in demons of course。 The trip of Rin Okumura, brings us through the first volume, as we see Rin, go to New Cross Academy, to become an exorcist。 He must become an exorcist to avenge his non-biological father, Father Fujimoto。 It has scenes that make you laugh, scenes that also make you smile。 And also scenes that make you shocked。 Rin, is one of my favorite characters。 With his happy and comedic personality, mixed with his vengeful and serious one, makes it a masterpiece to read over and over again。 I am very glad to get another volume, and even another one after that, just to get more and more engulfed in the storyline, to the point of being trapped in a never ending whirlpool of reading。 。。。more

This is one of the best shounen mangas that has been able to stay top tier throughout every arc without fizzling out。 I have been enjoying this manga for years now and will be so sad when it is finally over。

Blue ExorcisttThe Blue Exorcist or Ao no Exorcist by Kazue Kato is an exhilarating manga which is different from other Shonen manga。 Blue Exorcist is about Rin, a regular kid whose dad is priest at a church。 One day, Satan appears and kills his father。 The reader later finds out that Rin and his brother are adopted and their real father is Satan and their mom is human。 Soon, they are saved by an exorcist, but have a few options。 They must die by their hands or themselves。 However, their other op Blue ExorcisttThe Blue Exorcist or Ao no Exorcist by Kazue Kato is an exhilarating manga which is different from other Shonen manga。 Blue Exorcist is about Rin, a regular kid whose dad is priest at a church。 One day, Satan appears and kills his father。 The reader later finds out that Rin and his brother are adopted and their real father is Satan and their mom is human。 Soon, they are saved by an exorcist, but have a few options。 They must die by their hands or themselves。 However, their other option was to become exorcists。 Now they are enrolled in True Cross Academy to become exorcists。 tI enjoyed reading Blue Exorcist。 I like that it was different from other Shonen manga。 Normally, there is a main character or protagonist who has powers and strives to become stronger for some purpose。 Blue Exorcist is similar in that way, but its theme is totally different from what is usually found in Shonen manga。 The book is also based upon the idea of religion; however, it is not easy to state which religion it is about。 It portrays many facets of Christianity, but it also displays Japanese religion。 It could be Shinto or Buddhism。 I am not quite sure, but this creates an interesting setting。 Otherwise, I would say Blue Exorcist is a pretty standard Shonen manga。 I also liked Rin’s personality, he has a great character。 He does not let people insult his family, he has a great personality, and is hardworking。 He said, "You can badmouth me as much as you want, but don't make fun of my brother” (Kato)。 Although, I dislike some parts of Blue Exorcist。 At some points I got a little disinterested。 tI would recommend Blue Exorcist for people of many demographics。 Obviously, one enjoys this book if they prefer to read Shonen manga。 However, even if one enjoys Shonen manga, some Shonen manga readers may not enjoy Ao No Exorcist or Blue Exorcist because it is not a typical Shonen manga。 Moving on, Blue Exorcist would most likely be enjoyable for people from the ages of 11 or 12 and above。 This includes teens and adults also。 Moreover, if one has read mangas and animes like Soul Eater, Full metal Alchemist and Full metal Alchemist Brotherhood, and possibly Naruto。 Even if one hasn’t seen the following manga or anime, one would enjoy Blue Exorcist if one enjoys books or shows where the main character starts from the bottom and works their way up and fights scenes。tAll in all, Blue Exorcist is an entertaining anime that is different from the typical Shonen manga。 It is based on religion, but it does not hinder the plot, nor is it overbearing。 It has aspects of Christianity and Japanese religions like Shinto and Buddhism。 It caters to many different people ranging from 11 year old's to adults。 However, it is not a manga for everyone。 It depends on your taste。 I would like to read the other volumes of Blue Exorcist 。 。。。more

Blue Flamed GhostbustertBlue Exorcist is one of the more heard manga, being from the famous publisher, Shonen Jump。 Shonen has a lot to offer and most of their work is grandiloquent, but I felt Blue Exorcist was quite controversial to a profound text。 I am not saying it is bad, because I did enjoy reading the book; however, it was a bit confusing to follow the plot line and a bit boring too。 Blue Exorcist, otherwise known as Ao no Exorcist, is about a boy named Rin, who is the son of a Father at Blue Flamed GhostbustertBlue Exorcist is one of the more heard manga, being from the famous publisher, Shonen Jump。 Shonen has a lot to offer and most of their work is grandiloquent, but I felt Blue Exorcist was quite controversial to a profound text。 I am not saying it is bad, because I did enjoy reading the book; however, it was a bit confusing to follow the plot line and a bit boring too。 Blue Exorcist, otherwise known as Ao no Exorcist, is about a boy named Rin, who is the son of a Father at Church。 One day, Rin’s father was killed by Satan, leading Rin and his Brother to find out that they were adopted, and their true parents are Satan and some mortal woman。 A few moments later, an exorcist comes by and gives the boys a few options, die by themselves or in their hands, or become an exorcist。 They chose the latter because, of course, no one wants to die。 That is the start of the adventures of Rin。 Overall, I liked Blue Exorcist, but I did not grow attached to it。 It has a good idea for a story and is fun to read sometimes, especially with some horrible humor, like when Rin went from a passive “‘Why would I tell anyone [about the promise]’” to a “‘Hunh?! You’re scary … I won’t tell anyone! Sheesh!!’”, which is a complete mood swing within seconds (Ao no Exorcist Ch 6)。 But the story tends to also be really slow at points。 It feels like I am reading a story about someone at school, doing their homework, and leading a normal life most of the time, with some bits and pieces of action here and there。 This book is nice but not the best I have ever seen。 I would suggest this book for demographics 12 and above because some parts of the story are not the most appropriate for younger children。 It can get weird along with boring so stray away from this manga until you are at least a teenager。 Overall, I would give this book a 3/5 since it is par and mundane。 My opinion may change as I read more volumes but overall, it doesn’t land high on the list like Naruto, Demon Slayer, etc。 。。。more

Long time reader, volumes 01-26 review: 4/5I really like Kato's style, the world she came up with here, the lore, the character development throughout time。 But especially her style。 I remember being a teen and going "wow this is so cool! How some of them have their edges smoothed as they mature? How some, outcasts since early on, find friends to rely on? I want to see where Kato is going to take this。 。。。more
